The Story of Yeguada Salvador Ávila
Yeguada Salvador Ávila is formed by a team of people united by a single passion: THE HORSE. From the very beginning, our aim has been to develop a bloodline of horses we had always dreamt of, horses that embody BEAUTY, GOOG CHARACTER, and FUNCTIONALITY. Our project has always been guided by enthusiasm and the commitment required to produce horses of such outstanding quality. Would you like to learn more about our horses?
OUR STUD
Our stud is located in Villanueva de la Concepción, in the province of Málaga. Nestled in the very heart of the Montes de Málaga, and with easy access, we are surrounded by breathtaking landscapes that lend majesty and beauty to our land. In this environment, our horses grow strong and sound, nurtured by nature itself. The beauty of the rural setting is an integral part of our stud, and we take pride in belonging to this community. At Yeguada Salvador Ávila, we hold deep gratitude for the natural cycle of the land and animals, approaching every stage of development with respect and care. From the feeding of our horses to the conditions of their stabling, every detail is attended to, ensuring they enjoy a healthy life adapted at all times to their needs.

Horses
In this beautiful setting, our Purebred Spanish Horses (Pura Raza Española, PRE) are born and raised. Each of our horses is bred with the utmost care and attention, ensuring they develop the qualities that define us: beauty, character, and outstanding movement.
DEVELOPMENT PROCESS OF OUR HORSES
From the careful selection of progenitors to the moment our horses are entrusted to their new families, at Yeguada Salvador Ávila we devote close attention and dedication to every stage of their development.
We select from among the finest stallions within our stud, taking into account their temperament and functionality, and we carefully study the pairing of our broodmares to achieve the best results, always considering individual traits and genetic compatibility, while avoiding consanguinity.
Our foals grow strong and healthy in the fields alongside their dams until the weaning season, when they are gradually separated to continue their growth towards adulthood, with their nutrition and development overseen at all times.
Once they reach 3 or 4 years of age, we begin their schooling under saddle, in a manner respectful of their continued growth until around 7 years old, always encouraging trust and preserving the natural temperament of each horse.
